Ilija Petkovic (1945-2020), former midfielder of OFK Belgrade and French Toyes AC, then coach of numerous clubs and selector of Serbian national team, passed away on Saturday, June 27th.

Petkovic spent most of his playing career in OFK Belgrade, and he also started his coaching career right here in the Karaburma neighborhood at the bench of the “romantics”.

In this photo, at the club premises, his childhood friend and former teammate Zdravko Jokic, writes in the Book of Mourning and remembers the time when two of them wore the blue and white jersey in the period during the 60’s and the 70’s.
